Had a great night on the tusc Tuesday nite...Ended up landing 1 flathead and 2 channels my self. 7lb Flathead, 6lb Channel, and 4lb Channel...My buddy cody landed 1 flathead 3lbs...Both of my channels came on cut creek chub as well as codys flathead, my flathead came on live chub...We had several other runs that just simply didnt commit. It was one of the best nights I have had on the tusc so far this year...
Both Channel cats has spawning marks on them. I didnt notice any on the flatheads though! _________________ Team Hookset...

Chuck,
It seems like there is alot of smaller flatheads in the Tusc. Wheres the bigger ones? Sounds like you had a good time. Congrats!

Very true Chad, There are tons of smaller flatheads in the tusc. There are several larger ones too, they just dont present themselves as often as the jueveniles. My biggest one out of the tusc on Rod n Reel is 27lbs and I caught it last year, TCBA1987's Dad, and Brother both caught flatheads that were 27, and 28lbs last year as well...I have caught several in the 30-35lb range when I used to do alot of limblining and trotlining of the tusc.
IMO Trophy Flathead size in the tusc is quite a bit smaller than trophy flathead size in one of the lakes or larger rivers...
There are 50-65lb Flatheads in the tusc no doubt, and I am after them! _________________ Team Hookset...
