Rick Seevers (Misfit) died in his home after a long battle with COPD. I called him as I drove by his place in Newark last week. He never mentioned feeling bad but I found out he went to the hospital shortly afterward.
This pic is when Rick won big fish at a Tappan tournament.
His health was failing and I hacked us a flathead spot on Tappan.
He also made several trips on the Catfish Queen.
I'm sure there are many others who lost a friend when Misfit left us.
I hope the fish are biting for Rick and he is strong and healthy in Gods fishing hole. _________________ Catchabiggun,

Though we knew his health was getting worse, it’s no less heartbreaking to know he’s gone. Rick was a good fisherman, a good person, and a good friend. |
