The lakes in Ohio are drawn down in winter to help flood control in Spring.

How do you think this effects catfish and baitfish in these lakes?

It does congregate all fish tighter together, but I’ve always assumed that it happens at a time when activity, particularly with flatheads, is minimal. Therefore the affects would be minimal. I suppose it would depend a bit on the amount of draw down though. Perhaps in times of higher than normal draw down, some fish are displaced from their wintering areas and are forced to take what they can find in deeper water.
