Fished with Quinn and Brittan last night, hoping that the changing pressure and active weather might get some fish moving. Well, this little guy had the right idea. Sent him back to call his grandparents out.

You never know if you will get a big flathead till after you go
fishing. You have to bee fishing when a big fish decides to eat
and catching any flathead this year seems difficult.

I think the huge shad population really hurts our flathead
fishing because the big fish simply do not have to hunt for
a meal at all. We are all learning that there are year classes
of flathead for the future trophies.
