Saw the low temps for the night would be in the low 40's, and decided to fish one of our typical fall areas. Bait was balled up all around with a lot of fish activity in the area. Had our first run at about 8:30 p.m. and landed a 25 pound fish. The next fish bit around 10:30 p.m. and weighed in at 31 lbs. I had to leave at about 3:30 a.m. for work, but my dad kept on fishing. At about 5:00 a.m., he landed our third fish of the night at 30lbs. Seems the fall bite is beginning.
