Fish like this are in jeopardy if the NOAA G.I.T. decides to unregulate Virginia and Marylands restriction of trophy fish for commercial netters.

I've posted information about their goals to eradicate catfish and I am very surprised that no one has posted thoughts or comments.

This is a direct threat to your trophy fisheries--aren't you concerned?

The debates that have been occuring over the blue cats are ignorant. They are tring to label the blue cat as a rough fish/invasive to decrease regulations. I have not personally been to these trophy fisheries and I know very little about them, but I would like the option of fishing there in the future. With that being said, I am concerned with our current regulations in ohio for catfish, becuase they directly effect the waters I fish now. Why is it that jugging, noodling, trotlining, limb lining, and commercial netting are nearly unregualted?
