Stop by the hatchery at hebron it's open to the public, and they are happy to tell you anything you want to know. They released all of the Kentucky eggs that hatched in Dillion, when they were about 1 inch long. they chose dillion because of the over abundance of shad. You should be able to catch 20 lbers out of there in about 5 years counting from spring 2010. I was told that if they work out that they will try other lakes with over abundant prey or forage fish.

I wish they would raise em to 8-9 inches
like they do channel cats. There would be a much
higher survival rate.
