I use the technique effectively for bass anybody use it for cats. I was thinking of beefing up the weight. What is the verdict? _________________ I only fish on days that end in Y |

i would say if your planning on drifting or slow trolling for channel cats it would be a great way to cover water and find active fish. _________________ Brock |

I’m sure it would work, but I don’t see how it would offer any advantage over more traditional rigs. One big advantage of a drop shot with bass is how the bait moves. That wouldn’t be the case with catfish bait |
