Kayla and I knew fishing was out so we went over and shot
the rifle a while.

The Dam lady is booming water out as fast as she dares
but not wide open.

Kayla gets a taste for ice cream so I navigate around 313 flood over to the marina.

The docks are disconnected and fearing they will rise above the dock poles all the boats are tied to posts below the marina.

The employees won't be in the repair area for a while.

I won't be using my dock for a while either.

Anyway we head East to the Owls nest for ice cream. Only get to the west fork of Cadilac bay.

O K bactrack North and head East to come in from the other side.
Get to 146and 313.

No big deal we didn't want to go to Kennonsburg anyway.
Head west on 313 towards the Owls nest.

The mud ramp on East bay has been improved to asphalt that resembles 313.

Kayla didn't get chocolate chip mint ice cream and has to tough it out at the shack with chocolate.

Much more rain and maybe you can save dock fees. Very Happy I gripe and complain about the mess of mud I have on the farm, but at least I can get to my house.

We had several days w/o rain and they shut the dam
down before the lake dropped off the roads.

They opened the gates today and I am not sure what
changed but hope to be able to launch the pontoon
before the month is out. Website shows the lake drops
2-2 1/2 inches each 24 hours they have the outflow at Max.

Website says the lake is 5 ft over summer pool but I
am guessing 7-8 ft over pool.

Yeah, when I drove by for those few days when the dam was barely trickling I couldn't figure it out. Only thing I could figure was they may have been letting the creek recover a bit in preparation for the more rain to come. A little tour around the lake revealed several locations where the water was still over which puzzled me even more?
They got her flowing now though so hopefully they'll lower it enough to open the ramps or even reveal the submerged shore fishing locations.
