Youth deer season was this weekend. I got the plywood to
refinish the deck and got it primed and painted. I'll give
it another coat after a day or two of drying.
I'll have grandkids for Thanksgiving and finish working on
the pontoon after that.
Going to try a little bowhunting and then gun hunting
if I haven't got a good deer by gun season. _________________ Catchabiggun,

Still busy here. I think I forget what bored feels like these days.
Bow hunting was taking up so much time I was getting nothing ready for winter. Now that I’ve filled my main tag I’m busy getting things done around the farm and house before it gets too cold. Got the boat in the barn last weekend, and trying set up temp fencing to get cows on all the grass I can find before feeding too much hay. Got most of the Christmas lights up yesterday. Still need to “winterize” a stock tank to prevent having to chop ice all winter, garden needs tilled, need to haul another 27 round bales, garage doors need sealed up, tractor needs a new fuel pump and some major hydraulic work, have two deer to mount for myself and two to assist with… My head is starting to spin. |
