Be sure and play it in "original" size.

Scott

I have fished the James a few times. From your pics I was able to narrow where you are fishing to one of two spots.

The spot of the movie of the big blue looks good but I have fished it twice without a tap. And yes I fished all around the sunken barges Very Happy

Do you feel limitted on blue cat fishing because of the range of your boat/motor size? I really like the option of being able to run to Flowerdue or beyond. I guess the shallow draft will allow you to fish the creeks even at low tide.

Katfish, I'm somewhat limited by the size of my boat because I have limited range with just 5 gallons of gas and I am VERY careful what days I head out on the bigger water. You know how nasty that river can get and how quickly it can happen.

Because of the limited range, I tend to break down the river a little more than a lot of guys do and search out smaller holes less obvious bits of structure that usually get overlooked by the "run and gun" guys. Sometimes I'll just reposition on a hole and fish it from a different angle if I'm really sure about it. Sometimes it pays off, sometimes it doesn't.

Less running and more soak time is my motto Razz

I'm curious where you think the pics in the video came from... Have you fished "below" flowerdew Wink
