I fish rivers 99.9 % of the time. The closest to me in the GMR. Earlier this season I hit a couple nice holes from the boat. Managed some channels & small Flatheads, but nothing worth mentioning. The fall bite should be great. I perfer fishing the Scioto River, as we have a hunting cabin that is in that area. It seems like we are there every weekend, so fishing the Scioto came to be a natural reaction, but when I'm at home it's the GMR. I have found a couple new bank spots that I think will produce some 20# fish, not trophy flats but good fish for this area, actually great fish for this area. I'll post some pic when I get home.
