Al & I caught 2 flats form 6-7 lbs. A third run caught our attention but must had second thoughts and dropped our bait quickly.
We had limited hours last night se we made a run to the river. If I had to guess the bite is on again or at least getting started for fall.
For those who have followed my story of this particular flathead we call "Humpey" he is alive and well. Catch #5 for him this year. His scar has healed, and gained 1.5 lbs over the summer. He is just shy of 7.5lbs.
"The Hump"
One thing we noticed on Al's fish is a point at the middle of the tail. Very strange. Anyone else seen this?
