I knew it would happen sooner or later. Me and a buddy went out to a local farm pond to try for some cats. We ended up with a crappie, a couple of bluegills, and this 5# Channel Cat. I caught it on 2# test Vicious line and a wax worm. It had a lot of fight still for the ultra-light outfit I was using.

Looks like that forktail has been eating something Shocked

I love catfishing but will reserve ice for my sweet tea.

I do however enjoy fishing in Jamies playground even when ice forms on rod guides and anchor ropes.

I will tolerate hours of bitter cold for 20 minute fights with giants.
