I baught a bunch of the Gama Octopus hooks in the off season and I was wondering if anyone else uses them? I usually use kahles but these caught my eye and they are extremely sharp right out of the package!

Joey, When you get to about 8/0-10/0 does the wire get to be extremely heavy? I dont like such a heavy wire cause its too hard on my baits. The ones I got are 4/0, 6/0, and 7/0...They seem to have a medium wire but if it was any heavier I would have stayed away from them...

HEY! What spot outside of Dresden? Now you guys are in my fishing area.

Just kidding. I generally fish a pretty good stretch of the Muskingum outside of Dresden and even use a campsite in that area. We should compare notes sometime.

I love using the Octopus hooks for channels and flatties. I like the 8/0 and 10/0 for big live baits.

Have you ever seen the Big River Hooks Gammie makes? Those are some big ones Very Happy and I have caught fish on them too Laughing
