I know I'm not one of the Trophy guys on here, and there isn't much talk about channels...........but I just caught my new personal best channel cat and am damned proud of it!
14 lb 5 oz 33.5 inches long

Yes in the Tusc river.......during the TCBA tourney

I have been chasing channel cats longer than any other, and yet to have a fish over 10lbs. I am very Jealous, nice fish.
Last year I got a blue and flathead over 50lbs, so this years goal in a channel over 10. Right now I am about 5lbs behind you!!

Great job on that channel. Did you do anything different for that fish?
If you did you can try and repeat everything and maybe repeat many times.
Looks like you have the biggest cat so far this year.

Yes the Net man was great. he also was good in making me not feel so stupid for swearing it was a flattie since he thought so too, until we landed it  Never fought any channel the fought that way. at least now I know to to jump and assume I have a flattie on
