I baught a 8ft cat maxx and now I dont like it, its a little bit too long for me, its brand new I only used it 1 time, and that was only for about an hour, I want to trade it for a 7ft catmaxx or another flathead rod of equal value _________________ Team Hookset...

Chuck
You are not allowed to talk bad about Catmaxx at Katchaser
I got a hacksaw you can borrow
Seriously though, I can see you didn't read my advice about selecting tackle. Longer rods are handy for making long casts but are a disadvantage when fighting big fish.
If you keep carrying that rod in your car it will be a 2 piece rod soon _________________ Catchabiggun,

I have nothing bad to say about the Catmaxx rods, they are great rods, I love the ones that I have...
Since I have a couple 7ft 6 rods I didnt think it would be that much of a differnce, but its just too long...
I got a good deal on it, so if I have to trade it for a nice used Catmaxx Ill do that... _________________ Team Hookset...

Chuck,
Is it a heavy rod? Or a medium heavy?
