Yesterday I cleaned and respooled 4 flathead rods. I loaded another reel with flathead line a week before and spooled up 4 spinning reels for the girls to channel catfish with.
I have some decicisions to make with reels spooled for river fishing.
I will change line and clean the ultralight rigs for bait catching reels.
The ultralights also become involved in challenge battles when flathead fishermen want to watch a fish fight with a channel cat
We whooped and hollered to cheer Rob on to this channel cat he caught on an ultralight. _________________ Catchabiggun,

I just picked up 4 penn 320 gti's and an abu garcia 6500 from the outdoor shop that I dropped off for cleaning. Bought new line for all and bought enough tackle to last the year. Limbliners are are already catching some nice flatheads here so I am running a little late... _________________ -Bob

I get mine out and work on them during bad weather/snow days. Keeps me busy and holds down the cabin fever. _________________ On a real quiet night, You can hear the catfish laughing at me! |
